Le Guess Who? 2011 - Thank You!

Panda Bear just closed off Le Guess Who? 2011 in a legendary way with an amazing show. A perfect ending to a - according to us - great fifth edition of the festival.

Tivoli and Distorted Channel would like to thank everyone who have helped making Le Guess Who? 2011 happen: visitors, artists, designers, staff at Ekko, Vredenburg, dB's, ACU, RASA and Kargadoor, Kok Pistolet, Triomf, Subbacultcha! and all other partners. We also want to thank all retail and catering businesses who participated in the Le Mini Who? festival for their contribution.

Spread over four days, in eight music venues in Utrecht city, more than eighty performances took place. Artists planned their tour schedules so they could be this weekend in Utrecht to be part of the festival - as an artist and visitor.

This year, Le Guess Who?, worked together with various local organizations in Utrecht, so there was plenty to do in Utrecht city during these four days. Great music was shown while walking through the beautiful city of Utrecht with the Indie Route Utrecht, organized by KNG56 and DIY platform Shaky Maracas. Just like Your Mom catering took care of hungry visitors and artists.

The festival was engaged in a collaboration with the Utrecht indie label Beep Beep 67 and Rumor. The Katoen Fabriek made a unique totebag and video artists One Second exhibited their installation Cat's ass. Nick Helderman made an analog photoreport and documentaries were shown.

Last but not least, VPRO's 3VOOR12 was present during four days to record public sessions with various artists, which are shown on their website. For more information, photos and live recordings:
