From November 24 - November 27 2011 the fifth edition of music festival Le Guess Who? takes place in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Le Guess Who? is located in the unique premises of Utrecht city centre. Bands and artists perform throughout the city in different indoor locations like Tivoli Oudegracht, Tivoli de Helling, EKKO, Kargadoor, dB's, ACU, Vredenburg Leeuwenbergh and RASA. Le Guess Who? is an ever changing format to facilitate creative, daring and refreshing scenes and we aim to bring you some nice experiences.

HOW TO GET TO LE GUESS WHO?

Directions and Travel information:
Because of its central location Utrecht is well connected to the rest of the Netherlands, and has a well-developed public transport network. The city is easy accessible by (international) train, bus or car. Go to our TRAVEL page and find out what the easiest way is to get to Le Guess Who? from your country.

TRAIN
For national train information see www.ns.nl. For international train information see www.nshispeed.nl. Utrecht is only 30 minutes by train from Amsterdam.

CAR
If you come to Utrecht by car, please remember, parking in the city centre is very expensive. It's better to park at your hotel (if possible), in car-parkings, or at the cheap P&R or 'Transferium' a car parking at the edge of the city. If you do so, you can easily take cheap public transport (tram) into town.

Laag CatharijneBIKE RENTAL
The best way to get around in Utrecht is by bike. We strongly recommend renting a bike at Laag Catharijne (www.laagcatharijne.nl), which is located next to Utrecht Central Station. Le Guess Who? visitors can rent a bike for € 7.- a day, and €20,- for four days. There are also special opening times to pick up or bring back your bike:

Bike rental: Thursday - Saturday: 6pm - 9pm / Sunday: 1.30pm - 6pm
Bike return: Thursday - Saturday: 12pm - 2am / Sunday: 10pm - 12p

ACCOMMODATION

Tickets for Le Guess Who? do NOT include accommodation. Utrecht only offers a few options for cheap accommodation. Le Guess Who? therefore facilitates the CouchSurfing principle through a Facebook plug-in on its website. More info via www.leguesswho.nl/couchsurfing. NOTE: The fabulous Mary K Hotel offers a very attractive Le Guess Who?-discount for accommodation.

"We have three types of rooms at the Mary K Hotel: Cosy Small, Comfortable Medium, Large Deluxe. Our rooms vary from 19 up to 37 m2. No two rooms are alike. Some rooms have a balcony, whilst others look out towards a romantic canal view. Some of our rooms are interconnecting, whilst an other has sliding doors which open towards the garden. Apart from that, each room has it’s own arty character."

Normally you pay €120 for a small room, €145 for a medium room or €195 for a large room. This year Just Like Your Mom Catering is teaming up with Le Guess Who? to create a small veggie frontstage haven during the festival. You can find this haven at the Tivoli De Helling venue. For even more vegetarian food, go to EKKO! From Thursday November 24th till Sunday the 27th, at all festivaldays, EKKO's restaurant is open from 18.00 till 20.00. Prices are from €9,50. Check out the menu on their website.
