Museum Speelklok

Steenweg 6, 3511 JP, Utrecht

In the shadow of the Dom Tower, Museum Speelklok presents the wonderful world of self-playing musical instruments in a beautiful 11th century church. It’s a must see where you can learn more about the magical stories, technical craftsmanship and remarkable music of the different musical instruments in our free, hourly, tour through Museum Speelklok (in Dutch and English). From 12 October till 8 April you can also visit our temporary exhibit Shady Songs on Majestic Musical Clocks about the guilty pleasures of the 18th century elite.

Between 9 November and 12 November, Le Guess Who? visitors can enjoy the cheerful live music from centuries-old self-playing musical instruments that will surprise you from all corners of the museum for only €6,- (instead of the regular entry fee of €12,-). Museum Speelklok is open from Tuesday till Sunday, 10:00 to 17:00.
