Australia's Tropical Fuck Storm maps their own music from noise-rock and post-punk. This August, the band released their new album 'Braindrops' through Joyful Noise and now they share a new video for album track 'The Happiest Guy Around'. Directed by Glendon and Isabella, who are also known as 'the animators for the stars', we see band members transformed into a band of apes in a technicolour swirl of drugs, jungle animals and nuclear weapons.

"'The Happiest Guy Around' is a song about humankind's uniquely self-immolating propensity to bear a grudge", says Tropical Fuck Storm's Gareth Liddiard. Watch the video below.

"Braindrops is wired and ill at ease with the world around it, yet comfortable in its own twitching, sweat-speckled skin. It moves to its own taut and jerking rhythms without settling into familiar grooves. The bold and semi-dissonant group harmonies of “The Happiest Guy Around” recall Dirty Projectors circa Rise Above." - The Line Of Best Fit

Tropical Fuck Storm performs at Le Guess Who? 2019 on Sunday, 10 November. Also performing at the festival are a.o. Girl Band, Godflesh, Deerhunter, Moon Duo, Föllakzoid, The Raincoats, Acid Mothers Temple, and many more.
